The dog appears in a state of in-betweenness, expressing the tension of feeling trapped and the desire to act, yet seemingly conditioned to be an onlooker rather than an active participant. This dynamic invites viewers to reflect on the boundaries between observer and observed, and the ways in which domestication can influence autonomy.
