Fossils are metamorphic materials. The sculpture is made with slabs of wave form fossils found in Eastern Europe from the Jurassic period (formed around 150 million years ago), which captured an ephemeral moment and arrested it in an eternal form. The multi-planar mirrored stainless steel base on which the fossils are nestled reflects the surrounding space — rendering the structure itself invisible, whereby the waves from the fossils appear to be floating in mid-air. In the space between the three wave form fossil / stainless steel forms there exists mirrored reflections of an infinite void.
化石是变质的物质。雕塑由三块发现于东欧的侏罗纪时期（形成于约1.5亿年前）的波状化石组成，将过往的某一瞬间凝固成永恒。包围承托化石的多面体镜面不锈钢底座照映出作品周围的环境，使底座本身隐匿在环境之中，造成化石悬浮于半空中的错觉。三个化石/不锈钢中间的区域经镜面反射形成无限空洞。
