These photos capture the artist while making some graffiti on an abandoned old military combat aircraft, now part of the landscape on the river of his hometown Jinhua.
Like Jinhua, there are many other cities in China where the aircrafts were originally put in parks that got later demolished, while the planes were left untouched in the same place where they used to be.
In the early morning of Chinese New Year 2012, Jiang Li prepared his personal New Year gift for Jinhua citizens, and used some paint to cover the plane. He certainly didn’t expect that, the day after, the people in charge of the site would discover the graffiti and re-use some paint to cover it.
