Throughout the exhibition of Feng Chen Solo Show at Capsule Shanghai, the artist has developed the concept of a new interactive performance piece, titled 'The Darker Side of Light'.
Performed by dancer Paul Soares, the piece delves deeper into the aesthetics of sound. Window blinds controlling the light source in the exhibition rooms have been synced with the sounds created by body movements and voice frequencies, resulting in an environment where man and machine interact, interwine and complete each other.
