Capsule Shanghai is pleased to announce Alice Wang participates in A Curious Herbal - a group exhibition bringing together six artists considering the intersection between the still life and scientific botany. Drawing its name from a 1737 book of medicinal plant illustrations by Elizabeth Blackwell, A Curious Herbal sees all logical systems as irrational - creating oddities and strangeness as they constrain and organize.
