"I am interested in how the appearance and disappearance of images have an impact on human sensations and perceptions. I started to produce videos with different types of media, not strictly limiting myself to the use of projectors, TV or video cameras. I have experimented with different materials, such as thermal ink, which displays different colours at different temperatures. The movement of the images reveal the notion of time in my work, and it makes me rethink the relationship between video and human senses." -- Feng Chen
我最近的作品试图用不同的材料来制作录像，不仅仅局限在用投影，电视，和录像机。我感兴趣的是影像本身消失和显现过程中对于人感官的影响，所以我试验不同的材料，比如热感油墨可以通过控制外部温度做出改变。图像的变化使作品本身具有时间性，这个过程也使我重新思考录像与人类感官的关系。-- 冯晨
