Gao Yuan | Snares, A Torch and A Drawer: Yang Zi in Conversation with Gao Yuan


Yang Art Museum is pleased to invite curator Yang Zi and Gao Yuan to talk about the animation and the paintings that Gao Yuan has worked on for the recent six years, disclosing the concept and context of her creation, as well as the logic clues of the work. On the occasion, the audience will have a chance to watch the animated piece Lunar Dial (2010 - 2016) which took Gao Yuan six years to be created. Lunar Dial was nominated to participate at the “International Film Festival Rotterdam” (2017) and the “CutOut Fest International Animation and Digital Art Festival” (2016). In April, 2017, the animation will be on view at the “Hong Kong International Film Festival”.
