Through this series of paintings Feng Chen experiments with a liquid surface, acrylic paint, sound frequency (Hertz) and water color paper. While the Artist decides on which colors to use, it is the sound frequency that generates movement and essentially dictates the path and ultimate form of the painting. Each work is a unique visual representation of specific sounds and is titled with a specific frequency or combination. Can you see and feel the sound, or something else perhaps?
