不同地形的气候
冰川,沙漠龟裂,地质板块
从局部到整体关系
每次展出时可重新调整位置
atmosphere of different types of terrains
glaciers, desert dry crust, tectonic plates
part to whole relationship
can be rearranged and transformed each time they are exhibited
From Capsule Shanghai:
Wang realized the floor piece Untitled (2017) for her first solo exhibition in China while working closely to a ceramics master in Jingdezhen for two months. The inspiration comes from her research of geological structures in locations like the Denali National Park in Alaska, the Tibetan plateau, the San Andreas Fault line, and the Arctic Circle. The sculpture, composed of dozens of pieces in glazed ceramic, has reflective properties highlighted by the lighting condition in the space. The works leaves space for imagination — it could be a reference to tectonic plates, a glacier, or the cracks in the desert.
