A meticulously hand-made ceramic recreation of a burnt matchstick stands alone on the wall as a fragile moment. The sun that hits it from the window at different times throughout the day turns it into a new kind of solar clock. The various drawn shadows mark the install times of my other pieces in the show and my breaks that day during the install.
