Alice Wang | The Magic Hour #1

2018.03.17 - 04.22

The Magic Hour is a metal structure that frames artworks, objects, ephemera, and gestures, on a mesa in Twentynine Palms, California.

The structure will hold artworks, objects, actions, and ephemera framed by the desert land and sky.

Organized by Alice Wang and Ben Tong, it is an experimental platform that will host a number of iterations for artists to contribute arrangements for the desert. Modular in design to allow for shifting configurations, each iteration of The Magic Hour will take place over the course of 6 weeks, followed by an accompanying artist book that will record the process.

The first iteration of The Magic Hour will open on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1-5pm, and will run thru April 22, 2018.
