Wang Zhiyi (b.1991) is a nomadic and cross-disciplinary art practitioner. He studied at the Department of Design and the Department of Mural and Mixed Media Painting at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, and researched in art theory and exhibition practice. In recent years, he focused his interest in the symbolization and indication of color and graphics on a perceptual level, while exploring the synesthetic relationship between psychology, metaphors and their implied meanings. His curatorial practice focuses on individual artists, the realities they are faced with and the fundamental motivation of their artistic creativity.
